I interviewed at Intuitive (Providence, RI) in Apr 2023
Interview
Initially spoke with Recruiter, then HR, then in-person interview with hiring manager, and field ride.
I did not have a lot of experience at the time. While that made me risky it also made me desirable as I do not have any bad habits that they would need to break or worry about.
The field ride was incredible. Hands on the robot & fully immersed in the OR. Great experience that reassured me on how badly I wanted the job.
I was told that I did very well and was being supported to move on to the next step for final interview with the director. They told me that they were "holding off" on that final interview because there weren't any current openings in the area at the time. I have reached out, and not heard back.
Moral of the story- it was a positive but very lengthy, dragged out interview process that seemed promising but ultimately I was just led on.
Gaining more experience in the meantime and plan to come back at them swinging for another chance at the job.
It is easy to see that Inutitive carries amazing technology, great employees, opportunity for growth, and an unmatched culture was obvious as well.
