I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Insight Global (San Diego, CA)
Interview
Pretty basic interview process. Comprise of the following:
1) Phone Interview:
First, I received a phone call about a day or two after submitting my resume. Phone interview was very conversational, nothing technical, very easy and lasted about 15 mins. Basically we just talked about what my interests were and she gave me the basic info on the company/job.
2) Personal Interview:
After the phone interview they scheduled me for an interview face to face. Again, a very conversational interview with 2 sales managers. Basically they just told me more about the company and what they do and answered any questions I asked regarding the position. The interviewers didn't ask anything technical or even really look or ask about my resume, which kind of surprised me. The interview finished up after about 40 mins and they said they would be in contact with me.
3) Follow Up:
I sent an email to the interviewers and the girl that gave me the phone interview just thanking them for their time and following up and I received a call within a couple of days. She said they were interested in bringing me in for a second interview but asked if sales was really what I was interested in. She gave me about a week to think about it and I ended up declining the second interview because I had other job interests I wanted to pursue.
4) Overall, the interview process was very casual and easy with ZERO technical questions. They really just look for people they think would be a good fit for the position, so more personality than technical related. It is a total sales job, so unless you're really interested in sales I wouldn't suggest going to an interview. Everyone I dealt with was very nice and accommodating, I just wasn't the right fit for the position in my mind. Also, I had read some negative things online and from friends that had previously worked for this company and I was turned off by that. So be sure to do some research of your own on the company before applying.

Interview
Insight Global has a great interview process. It is very conversational and from the first interview it was apparent to me this was a company I wanted to be a part of. They want you to ask questions and provide lots of insight into the company. After speaking with several people in the office, you are painted a picture of how great life at Insight Global is! When I was interviewing, I was going to school full time and had a job, they worked with my schedule and were great at scheduling interviews with my hectic schedule. I couldn't be happier with my decision to join the Insight Global team, and with all of the opportunity I have been given!

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Insight Global (Dallas, TX) in Dec 2012
Interview
Initial phone interview with a corporate recruiter. I was invited to the office for a face-to-face interview. I met 3 people, all of which seemed very snobby. They were more interested if I partied or not than if I was qualified for the position. They seemed as if they knew if they wanted to hire me or not before I even got there. Waste of time. Also, they sugar coated the money and made it sound way better than it was in reality. Left feeling like I was not a good fit and overqualified.
