Advice to other interview candidates
dress appropiate--just because its a home improvement store does not mean to dress down for the interview-----I have been in job fairs helping candidates with applications, where to go, etc.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Home Depot Canada (Vancouver, BC) in Jul 2023
Interview
I was an internal hire.
There were two interviewers: the ASM and the Front End manager.
They took turns asking questions.
It was pretty painless, and nothing stood out to me. Classic retail job interview, but sprinkles of behavioural questions because it's a middle management job.
I was a cashier for 6 months and showed a lot of growth, drive, and shared the stores values. I also had 3 homer badges since starting and customers had a lot of good things to say about me in their client reviews.

Interview
Took about 15-20 minutes total in human resources' office along with my Front End Supervisor. I sat opposite of them and, having been a cashier for 6 months, they already got to know me personally but wanted to give everyone a fair chance in applying and see who would make the best candidiate.
