Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What did you use specifically from school that you have applied to your role?
Went to a recruitment session where we could choose 2 areas. Had interviews for each. Waited for a month and got a call to go to another interview, techincal pannel. There were 3 professionals that asked about a project where I worked, very specific questions so choose a project you know very well. Also asked behavioural questions like: tell us about a time when you had to work with someone difficult? How did you manage the situation? Wich subjects did you like the most and the less? why? Then got a call back for the assesment pannel which has not happened yet.

Question 1
Very specific questions about the project, like how do you calculate the internal energy for hydrogen
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GE (Milwaukee, WI) in Sep 2010
Interview
Got the interview after submitting my resume on the college job board, heard back a few days later from a few of the branches. Each interview was 1:2 ratio, usually with alumni from my university who had gone through the Edison program. Very behavioral interviews, not technical questions at all. They want someone with a good attitude and experience somewhere.
NOTE: If you interview with more than one branch (i.e. Healthcare, Lighting, etc) and more than one branch wants to make an offer, you have to select from which one you would like to receive an offer. GE does not compete with itself for you.
