Interview
I applied to the Forever 21 in La Jolla, San Diego. At that time they were in desperate need of employees since it was summer and a lot of kids were on break. I turned in an app in-store and was called for an interview maybe a week later. I interviewed with one of the assistant managers who asked me typical retail interview questions such as, "What do you like about Forever 21?" and "Why do you want to work here?" She also asked scenario questions like what I would do if I saw a person stealing. It was basic and generic and really conversational. I pretty much got hired on the spot.

Question 1

I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Forever 21 (San Antonio, TX) in Jul 2009
Interview
I went in person to grab an application. I was dressed well, nice presentation is a must. I took in the application as soon as it was completed. They called me in for an 1 to 1 interview with on of the Managers. She asked simple questions such as: What my responsibilities were at my previous job? How would you handle a situation about the return policy? They called me back within the next 2-3 days. Offered me a position as cashier. I accepted.

Question 1
How would you handle a situation with a customer who wants to return something, having the return policy that allows you only to exchange?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Forever 21 (Wheaton, MD) in Apr 2010
Interview
Attended a packed Open-Call. Know that dressing the part is important to employers at Forever 21 ("how can we sell fashion if we don't look it?") Do your homework, assemble some favorite trends -- you'll likely be asked to talk a bit about fashion. Most of all, appear cool, collected, and outgoing. Forever 21 is not interested in shy associates. Play up your best qualities (retail experience is not a must!). Go in with a printed resume to stand out.
