I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Forever 21 (New York, NY) in Jul 2010
Interview
I went to the company website where I found out about their recruiting efforts for the company's Time Square location. I printed a copy of my resume (revised and tweaked); the following day, the 1st day of the interviews, I went doen to the 14ths street branch and waited on line from 10 am-4pm. Get there early for recruitment events. wear forever 21 clothing, look fashionable and dont be trapped into the corporate look but dont look cheap and trashy either. The recruiter was friendly and nice, she came from LA, headquaters with another female recruiter, it was only two of them. Be personable and try to stand out by the way you dress and articulate your answers as well as personality have a little small talk if you can , this was a group interview.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
You are chosen to be the store greeter for the day, what do you say to the customer?
The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Forever 21 (Santa Monica, CA) in Aug 2009
Interview
I came in on the day of an open interviews. The Santa Monica location is the biggest next to the Flagship. I interviewed with an assistant manager and he asked me some pretty basic interview questions. I know that you should try and make the interview more like a conversation. The assistant managers are mostly pretty young and fun so it won't be very intimidating, but make sure you are respectful and not too comfortable.
My second interview was a group interview. We were asked to share some things about ourselves, and were given some history on the company. We were given scenarios as well.

Question 1
What do you say to a customer who is undecided on an item?
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Forever 21 (New York, NY) in Jun 2010
Interview
I learned about this opportunity through the Forever 21 website. It was an open call for a new store opening in New York. I showed up at the set location and waited in the waiting room before being called in with about about 8 other people for a group interview. We sat in a circle and the Forever 21 interviewer asked us questions like "Why do we want to work for Forever 21, What do we think about customer service etc" Typical interview questions. In order to get hired, it is absolutely necessary that you stand out. The Forever 21 interviewer told us that they had interviewed about 300 people, had maybe about 150 left, and were only hiring about 40 more people. To stand out, you must be outgoing and memorable. Don't be afraid to be loud. Speak up before others! And have a genuine, friendly personality.
