I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Fluor (Edmonton, AB) in Feb 2015
Interview
Interview started with couple basic questions such as: tell us about yourself, why engineering etc. Then it moved to more behavioural type questions. There were questions on several scenarios - communication, leadership, teamwork etc.
There was one HR representative and one Engineering Manager. Both of them alternated in asking questions. There weren't any traditional technical question. Interview was fairly long - 75 minutes. Normally expect it to be 60 minutes.
They started the interview about 10 minutes late (the interview location opened late), and then it went over time while talking to me. Towards the end they were rushing a lot, and I only got to ask one question. At that point, I was told to email my other questions, and also add the HR representative on LinkedIn. Both of which I have done, except I haven't received any response so far - not on LinkedIn, not via email.
I am still waiting for an outcome. The interview experience has been neutral to be honest. The rushing towards the end, and a lack of response on both LinkedIn and email have left a sour taste.
Also, due to the rush, they didn't tell me anything about the next steps of the interview. So, I am pretty much in the dark right now.
