I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Coach (Minneapolis, MN)
Interview
Paper application, interview with sales scenarios. No too difficult. If you really want the job, indicate that you love the product, smile, and be energetic. I think you also need to look presentable (not sloppy looking) and professional. Don't fill out an app without doing your hair and makeup. Fill out the app at the store and schmooze with the person who handed you the app (only managers can hand them out). Compliment them and ask what they love about the store and products they own. This will show you interest and show that you have conversational skills.
It was pretty relaxed, two interviewers, mostly spoke about my CV and Customer Service. Why I want to join the company and why luxury retail? I am still waiting to hear back from them. Had my interview last last week.

Pretty straight forward and nothing too intense. Great energy from the team as long as you are competent yet competitive.
It was a 2 step process for me after the phone call and they brought me in immediately.
