I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Centene
Interview
Phone interviews with 3 people, after which they flew me to their corporate headquarters in St. Louis where I had a series of 6 interviews with VP level executives. Later, I had one more phone interview. Everyone was very nice and helpful. After all of this, they did not win the contract in my state, so had no job to offer me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly behavioral questions, but not generic questions, most were specific to the position I was applying for; i.e. how my experience prepared me for the job; asking my thoughts about challenges with implementing their contract. Most of it was very conversational, more like a discussion with a colleague than a typical interview.
Terrible company. Management is looking for people who will agree with them. You can see old, authoritative leadership style from the 80's. One of the interviewers was disrespectful. This person ranted about never allowing anyone to work from home. They require formal corporate dress. They will pay you poor wages. Don't bother unless you are desperate.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Centene (Sunrise, FL) in Mar 2015
Interview
Interview was 1 on 1 with a director of the department. Average interview. Several question regarding job experience and history were asked. I was shown the facility and where I would be working and the training process was explained. I received an offer the next day.
