Barclays Assistant Manager interview questions

First round was competency based. It was a video conference. The interviewers had a set of questions ready on SAS. They asked me to solve the SAS questions on screen sharing mode. Later they asked few questions on non technical skills and resume. It lasted for 1.5 hours. Second round was values based. The interviewer asked me everything from my resume and the best project I had done so far. It lasted for 50 min. Then I got an email from HR asking for documents. Later I got a call from HR regarding salary negotiation. I asked them to increase it more by 10%. First she intimidated me saying that they might consider other candidates if asked for higher salary. Then she told me she will try and get back to me. I waited for some days. I got an email also that it's in process and they will get back to me. After a few days, I got a call. HR told me that she wants me to join in 1 month (when my notice period in current organization is 3 months and I had told in all my interviews, that I would reduce it to 2 months using my leaves and management discretion). She again intimidated me saying that they will cancel my candidature if I don't join in 1 month. She also pursuaded me to give medical reason in current organization and reduce notice period to 1 month. Hence, I lost the opportunity just because of notice period. This shows when a brand takes your values based interview, gives you false hopes and wants to be dishonest with your organization, what the brand is from inside. I'm glad I'm not a part of Barclays.
