I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AstraZeneca (Praga) in Oct 2021
Interview
Three stage process with 1st being HR round and then Hiring manager, the last was medical director with hiring manager. The most important was the hiring manager round while medical director mainly confirmed the choice
Interview process was convenient since It's just a brief phone call. This saved a lot of time compared to an onsite interview, which usually requires a commute and takes up most of the day.
Interviews for an MSL position at AstraZeneca include four stages:
1. an initial conversation with the recruiter,
2. a Zoom interview with the recruiter and a senior MSL,
3. an on-site simulation that includes presenting a scientific paper and answering related questions, and
4. a final interview with a senior manager and the Head of Medical.
Overall, the process is very clear. It is somewhat long, but the overall experience is very positive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is the thing that annoys you most about people?
• What are your weaknesses?
• What are your strengths?
• What is an MSL?
• Describe a situation in which you faced a conflict and how you resolved it.
• Describe a situation in which you experienced a heavy workload and how you managed it.
