When I arrived the staff didn't seem very organised. It was a group interview and was around 20 of us. We all introduced ourselves. We was split into 4 groups and built a tower with spaghetti and marshmallows. We were all sat on the shop floor which wasn't very clean as the interview was immediately after closing time. After this we were given 5 leaflets which shows Argos returns policy and insurance. We had to write the pros and cons of the different types for different products. I really didn't get what I was doing. We presented this to the other groups.
After this we queued up so they could photocopy our right to work documents, left feeling like a child. When I gave them my availability to work baring in mind I had applied for the job advertised as 16 hours she didn't seem impressed and made me feel a little embarrassed in front of some people due to a remark. It was clear Argos are all about selling the add one such as batteries, insurance and that sort of stuff. I left the interview hoping I didn't hear from them
