I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Argos (Birmingham, Inglaterra) in Oct 2017
Interview
Group interview with 20 or more candidates. Asked to pair up, talk about the other person to everyone. Then you fill out a form, then put into groups of four with a scenario. Lastly a mini brain test of correcting numbers.
In my opinion, this wasn't the best of interviews. Mainly because Argos do not tell you its a group interview and they put you on the spot to try 'gain confidence' or to see how you handle pressure. Its an odd way of finding the candidate. In the end we asked questions on how many spots was available. At this branch, they were looking for 20 christmas jobs part time but however revealed they had to interview 40 more people in the next group interview. I've not received my results yet but its not going to look that good seeing as if your not the loud one, its highly unlikely you will get the job.
If you're going for an interview with Argos, expect to be confident and engaging with everyone even the staff to get into the safe books.
