I got a phone call after applying online inviting me in for an interview. I was asked some questions over the phone which got half of the interview questions done in advance. At the start of my interview I was led around the shop and asked to point out anything that I thought was wrong or out of place (to test my attention to detail). I was asked what I would do to change the things that I had pointed out. I also completed a role play exercise where a member of staff pretended to be a customer flicking through a catalogue unsure of what gift to buy their son and I was left to respond to the situation how I saw fit whilst being assessed by another member of staff. I was then led off into an office where I was asked questions and the staff member wrote down my answers. During my time there I spoke to various members of staff and they all seemed really nice and friendly and supportive of each other. I got the impression it is a nice place to work.
