Went to on campus networking event, had brief conversation and followup interview that day. After two phone interviews, was approached with an offer. Original contact from networking event maintained involvement, continued to personally call and check in and was very helpful.

Interview
Everyone I interacted with was very friendly; the interviews tested a variety of mechanical engineering skills from your run of the mill beam bending problems to very specific product design terminology. It did not become evident until the final interview that they were looking for a high level of experience with materials and small-scale manufacturing.
