The Interviewers were very friendly
They were patient and asked the candidate more questions on what he knows rather than what they know.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Amdocs (Mumbai)
Interview
Coding test, aptitude test, followed by 2 technical rounds and 1 HR. Fairly exhausting. Spread over 2 days. They need you to be exceptional when it comes to the technical stuff. The technical interview went on for an hour. Got through on the basis of potential. Very co-operative and professional HRs. Won't let you feel the heat.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amdocs (Bhubaneshwar) in Dec 2015
Interview
Online Exam.
5 sections:
1. English
2. Aptitude
3. Logical Reasoning
4. Programming
5. Unix/DBMS/Output questions
Everything was pretty normal, not that difficult. There were two programs, either array problem or pattern problem, nothing more than that. Even if you don't succeed coding any of them, don't lose hope. Here I am, placed! Just don't spoil your aspiration and mind, perform well in other sections. Remember , don't take the 5th section lightly, I have seen people couldn't make it for taking that grant.
About 100 students attempted the online process, out of which 10 got selected for next round.
Technical interview:
The interviewer was a project manager of AMDOCS, he looked very focused and friendly. Though, the questions were exhaustive, it times. Since I told him that I am a full stack developer, several times, he gave me scenarios and asked me how I'll manage the data into tables, like how many tables do I need to create in order of have the process running well. He found me interesting in cpp, as I have been a competitive programmer , it wasn't that difficult for me to handle his fundamental questions. On the whole, it was 60% sure shot answers by me, but I don't know what the interviewer saw in me to give me a green go. I felt like he always wanted to bag me. :)
HR interview:
This interview was just a formality to describe us the salary structure and bonus and facilities. HR looked beautiful and very friendly. Though, salary they offered was quite low,i.e. 3.5 lpa. But I am happy to join AMDOCS.
cheers!
