I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amcor (Shelbyville, KY) in Oct 2015
Interview
Disingenuous, deceitful, and lengthy.....Panel interview with HR clerk, lead Maintenance guy (sat there in a trance, didn't ask ONE question, probably day-dreaming about his 4WD Truck and Miller High Life), and chief engineer (Poindexter to the MAX).....lots of questions about my experience and education (30+ years), as related to their process and equipment.....no issues whatsoever with any of their technical questions.....asked about their manufacturing process, received a LENGTHY overview from chief engineer.....he seemed somewhat knowledgeable, but very curt, short, and irritated......Red Flag #1......
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard Corporate BS psych questions, scripted to the max.....really, the HR woman read them word-for-word off of her script, and it was (almost physically) PAINFULLY obvious that she had ZERO technical expertise, was borderline A.D.D., and struggling with the basic tasks of her job.....Red Flag #2.....
