I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2025
Interview
Very standard leetcode + behavioural + system design interview process.
The leadership principles are the defining aspect of the behavioural, and your stories will be extra-excessively scrutinised. This is what sets their interview apart so they take it very seriously. And it is what it is.
Definitely recommend having someone grill your answers before an interview.

Solved one question completely and passed half of the other question's tests. Later I was rejected due to lack of experience in resume. I actively asked if there are any SDE I positions but they were unable to provide any openings.
Introduction, some info about the project, in detail explanation for why choosing particualar tech stack , and 2 DSA questions were asked, the approach was discussed, and time complexity analysis was done.
