I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2023
Interview
There is a phone screen, and interview with somebody who would be similar to a peer, and then if they approve you move on to a series of interviews that will be back to back.

Question 1
I prepared. I studied the sample questions and totally reviewed all the leadership principles. I studied the companies and the leaders. But I was asked almost no questions other than to go over my resume and what I am most proud of in my career.
My shock came when I asked questions. If you read their leadership principles, many of them are related to thinking big, evolving, learning and being curious, innovation. I asked this person if they had incorporated AI into their role.
Screening call, five ‘loop’ interviews & HM chat. Loop based on Amazon leadership principles & STAR interview format. You receive plenty of information on how to prepare for the interviews which are back to back and 1 hour each

Question 1
Tell me about a time something went wrong, what were you doing, how did you deal with it…
Very intense. 2 phone screens and 4 45 minute interviews, known as the loop. The recruiter prepared me with much detail about what to expect. If you prepare, you’ll be fine.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
Went through phone screening and never heard back even after reaching out to recruiter. It was unusual since they are usually quick on notifying you. I've went through a few interviews with them in the past.
