I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Academy Sports + Outdoors (Fort Worth, TX)
Interview
Pretty normal run of the mill interview. Same type of questions Wal-Mart asks, sometimes word for word. name a time when this, name a time or place when that. Simple. Nothing hard about it. I was OVER PREPARED. It's quick and painless. Unless you totally stink up the joint, you got the job. They tell you that it's easy to move up in the company. It is. Because everyone quits shortly after. They explain the point process and that if your late it's 2 points and if you call in its 4 points. you get 24 points till your fired. No matter whats going on in your life. I had a blow out coming back from my lunch break and called them to let them know what was going on and yep you guessed it! 2 points for being late.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Academy Sports + Outdoors (Easley, SC) in Sep 2017
Interview
It was a basic interview I was asked about my previous employer, education and experience. I was then brought in for what I thought was a second interview but was a job offer.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Academy Sports + Outdoors (Baton Rouge, LA) in Mar 2016
Interview
It was two individual interviews with two different people. The first was in room with other employees and distractions. The second was an one-one in the manager's office. It was easy and generic. However, they said I would have to start at the cashier spot part time. I called them twice and they told me when they would call me back. I never received the follow up calls.
