I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Academy Sports + Outdoors in Jul 2013
Interview
Applied online and got a call two days later for an interview. Asked typical retail interview questions about your past work experience. Also asked scenario questions like "what would you do..." A few days later got a call offering me the job and they told me my starting pay. Went in for some more info on the position and was told to come in again the next week to do the actual paperwork.

Question 1
Why did I want this job? What was I interested in?
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Academy Sports + Outdoors (Easley, SC) in Sep 2017
Interview
It was a basic interview I was asked about my previous employer, education and experience. I was then brought in for what I thought was a second interview but was a job offer.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Academy Sports + Outdoors (Baton Rouge, LA) in Mar 2016
Interview
It was two individual interviews with two different people. The first was in room with other employees and distractions. The second was an one-one in the manager's office. It was easy and generic. However, they said I would have to start at the cashier spot part time. I called them twice and they told me when they would call me back. I never received the follow up calls.
