First is a telephone interview which took about 30 mins. Questions were about my resume. Second is a personal interview on the plant, where I had a presentation about myself for 15 minutes followed by interview for 1 hour.

Question 1
1) Tell me a situation where you had a conflict with your co-worker or your supervisor, and how did you handle it?
2) Describe a situation where you met with unexpected obstacles and how did you manage it?
3) What are your software skills?
Quick process, by large corporation standards. I applied online, was called by the hiring manager 2 weeks later. After our 30 minute talk, I was called the next day to set up a phone interview. Day after the phone interview, I was invited to come onsite for an in-person interview/meeting with the team. Was offered the role 2 days later.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at 3M (Saint Paul, MN) in Aug 2012
Interview
I applied after college graduation through the 3M hiring website. About two weeks later the manager emailed me and asked if I was still interested and said she'd like to set up a time to do a phone interview. The phone interview was very short and more just used to schedule a time to set up an in-person interview in St. Paul. I interviewed the same week as the phone interview with the manager and five other analysts in the business group. It was about 2 hours long. Very basic interview questions. Offer letter came the next week. There is room for negotiations.
